Product Description
ABS resin is as a kind of thermo plastics which is widely used in manufacturing auto-parts, electric appliances, stationery and furniture. ABS is featured with hygroscopicity, therefore, it will need forty minutes to undergo the drying process before moulding and it will even take several hours to dry up in the case of recycled ABS pellets.
A-208T and A-218T is a new type of functional masterbatch, developed specially to remove moisture from the ABS resin. A-208 and A-218T can be mixed with the raw materials in a small amount so as to remove the drying process and thus we can carry out the injection molding and extrusion molding directly. A-208 and A-218T are environment-friendly plastic additive will saves time, efforts and cost while processing.
Applications
A-208T can be used with recycled ABS resin as well as the virgin ABS resin without strict requirements on physical properties.
A-218T mainly used with ABS resin with several special requirements on physical properties.

Features
1. Resolves moisture related issues including: porosity and lacing in product.
2. Water absorption: it can absorb as much water as equivalent of 20% of its own weight.
3. Requires no change to be made in the processing technology or the equipment.

Guidelines
1. Do not accept if the inner packing is damaged;
2. Supposed to be consumed within 8 hours after the inner packing is opened;
3. Addition rate: 1%~5%;
4. Simply mix with plastic raw materials;
5. Do not run the drying process with the recycled materials
Packing & Store
1. Handle carefully to avoid damage in packaging;
2. Store in a proper ventilated, dry & cool place and avoid direct exposure to sunlight or rain.
3. Storage life: good to use for 6 months if stored as directed.
